Longtime Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel plans to step down from her role leading the RNC as Donald Trump, the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, pushes for new leadership. One of the top candidates to replace her is North Carolina Republican Party chairman Michael Whatley. But who is Michael Whatley, and how would he shape the national party?
